Our international arbitration practice (both in the function of arbitrator and counsel) is characterized by its breadth of practice as well as client diversity:
Dr. Andreas Respondek is listed as arbitrator on the panels of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”), the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (“HKIAC”) and the Kuala Lumpur Regional Arbitration Centre (“KLRAC”). He is also the editor and co-author of the “ASIA ARBITRATION GUIDE”.
Dr Andreas Respondek is regularly appointed by leading arbitration institutions and represented international corporate clients in arbitrations administered by the International Chamber of Commerce, the Singapore International Arbitration Centre, the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce Association for Arbitration and Mediation and ad hoc proceedings in Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Thailand, Mexico, USA etc.
Dr Andreas Respondek possesses in-depth knowledge of a wide variety of industries. He routinely advises corporate clients on international legal and procedural arbitration related issues, appears as counsel or arbitrator for disputes involving complex and multi-layered legal and factual issues, often working in close collaboration with industry experts and specialists in state-of-the-art technology, including health care (Dr Respondek worked in health care for 11 years), licensing matters, IT, oil exploration, corporate restructurings, M&A related disputes and general commercial disputes.
